GOLDEN HOUR  / 26 JUN 12 — 14 Riverfront Commons + Williams Avenue OR 97209 Edition 26

GOLDEN HOUR/26

Golden Hour started on a single block of Williams Avenue in 2019 — one PA, two food carts, and a homemade banner. Six editions later it's a free, three-day, four-stage citywide festival that takes over the riverfront and the streets that run into it. You're invited. Bring a friend. Bring a stranger.

This year's program leans hard into the in-person — analog instruments, hand-built things, conversations that don't fit on a screen. Twenty artists and thinkers, from the people topping festival bills this summer to the ones playing their first major stage. A workshop tent that runs continuously. A late-night strand on the river that ends when the sun comes up.

Everything is free. Nothing requires registration. Just show up. The schedule is the contract.

A closing note — see you on the river

Golden Hour runs on you. The festival is free because hundreds of you show up to staff the gates, run the trash, pour the coffee, and tape the cables. The 2026 edition needs 240 more. Two-hour shifts. Free meal. A patch.

Sign up at the volunteer tent on Williams Ave, or email crew@goldenhour.test.

Save the date — next year's edition is June 11–13, 2027. Same riverfront. Same idea. New surprises.
