A six-time All-American and nine-time NCAA Championship qualifier, Bernie is the only Raven to win both the NCAA East Region Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year in the same season — a distinction held nationally by just four male athletes. He represented his national team at the 2022 World University Games, and currently holds national records in the indoor 1000m and outdoor mile.
